From Insight to Impact: The Future of the Brabant Economy

In recent years, the Brabant economy has evolved into a powerful engine of innovation and growth. At the same time, the region faces the challenge of maintaining and strengthening that position. This publication, compiled by the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) in collaboration with Rabobank, highlights the key opportunities and developments shaping the future.

BOM focuses on several clear priority areas where Brabant is already strong or aims to accelerate: decentralized energy systems, medtech, life sciences & health, plant-based nutrition, and key technologies such as deeptech, AI-tech, and defense. Using current economic insights and inspiring examples, we show how these domains reinforce each other and collectively contribute to a robust and future-proof earning capacity.
