Worldclass R&D

The Netherlands was chosen due to its strong innovation ecosystem and skilled workforce. With its world-class R&D infrastructure, the country provides an ideal foundation for MoCA Cognition’s expansion. The company aims to harness the local talent in AI, machine learning, data science, and software development, all of which are crucial for advancing its digital cognitive health tools. By situating itself here, MoCA Cognition will gain access to experts and developers in the field, accelerating its research and product development.

Maarten Brouwer, Team Lead at the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) Foreign Investments, emphasized the significance of this expansion: “It is a compliment to the region that a global leader like MoCA Cognition has selected Brabant. Here, they can access the knowledge and talent needed to further develop their products, and we are happy to embed them into our innovation ecosystem.” This move is seen as a recognition of the region’s ability to support high-tech industries and foster groundbreaking developments.

Embedding in ecosystem

The Netherlands is globally recognized as a hub for cutting-edge technology and innovation. The country boasts a well-established ecosystem for R&D, supported by strong academic institutions, government initiatives, and private-sector partnerships. It consistently ranks high on global innovation due to its well-developed infrastructure, research capabilities, and collaborative environment. Establishing a subsidiary in the Netherlands will enable MoCA Cognition to tap into this ecosystem, fostering collaboration with local universities, research institutes, and technology partners.

One of these renowned universities is the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). This university is known for expertise in AI and cognitive science and offer opportunities for collaboration, allowing MoCA Cognition to engage in cutting-edge research and foster innovation in cognitive health.
